Views relating to the planning applications listed below should be made by 10/04/2020 quoting the reference number. 4. The County of Wiltshire (Cemetery Lane, Bradford on Avon) (Prohibition of Motor Vehicles) Order 2020



Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council proposes to make the above Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and Order 3 also under the Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which will be as follows: Order 1 - To introduce a 30mph speed limit on B3107 Holt Road, Bradford on Avon - from a point approximately 133 metres west of its junction with Cemetery Lane for a distance of 64 metres in a westerly direction. Order 2 - To revoke The County of Wiltshire (B3105 and B3107, Bradford on Avon, Holt and South Wraxall) (50mph Speed Limit) Order 2018 and to re-enact it in part to take account of the proposed 30mph speed limit as mentioned in Order 1 above. Order 3 - To amend the following restrictions in the Bradford on Avon Consolidation Order 2018 by revoking Map Schedule No EJ21 dated 21/05/2018 and replacing it by the insertion of revised Map Schedule No EJ21 the effect of which will be to remove the existing No waiting at any time and introduce Parking Mon-Sat 8am-6pm 1 hour No return within 1 hour on the north east side of Woolley Street - from its junction with Holt Road in a westerly direction for 15 metres. Order 4 - To revoke The County of Wiltshire (Cemetery Lane, Bradford on Avon) (Prohibition of Driving) Order 2018 and re-enact it for administrative purposes to prohibit all motor vehicles (currently all vehicles). Deposit copies of the Orders, plans and Statement of the Council's Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge during normal office hours. Details of the proposed scheme may be seen at Bradford on Avon Library, Bridge Street, Bradford on Avon during the hours of 10am - 7pm Monday, 9.30am - 5pm Wednesday and Friday, 9.30am - 7pm Thursday and 9.30am - 4pm Saturday until 20 April 2020. Comments on the proposal together with the reasons for which they are made should be sent in writing or via the website to reach the Sustainable Transport Group by 20 April 2020 quoting reference HKB/TRO/BRAD.

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) A365 Shaw Hill (Part), Melksham Without; from its junction with Norrington Lane and to its junction with A365 Bath Road; B) A365 Bath Road (Part), Melksham Without; from its junction with A365 Shaw Hill for a distance of approximately 370 metres in a southerly direction;

C) B3353 Corsham Road (Part), Melksham Without; from its junction with A365 Bath Road to its junction with School Lane to enable Ringway to carry out refurbishment of traffic signal junction. Alternative route for (a) to (b): via A365 (unaffected length) - A350 - A4 and vice versa. Alternative Route for (c): via B4553 (unaffected length) - A4 - A365 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 13 April 2020 and the closure will be required between the hours of 07:00 and 19:00 until 16 April 2020. D) St Laurence Road (Part), Bradford on Avon; from its junction with A363 Trowbridge Road to its junction with Culver Road to enable Ringway to carry out installation of new crossing. Alternative route: via Culver Road - A363 Trowbridge Road and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 18 April 2020 and the closure will be required until 15 May 2020. E) A363 Trowbridge Road (Part), Bradford on Avon; from its junction with Trowbridge Road to its junction with Poulton to enable Ringway to carry out road signals ducting crossing due to narrow working width. Alternative route: via A363 (unaffected length) - Moulton Drive - B3109 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 18 April 2020 and the closure will be required between the hours of 07:00 and 19:00 for one day. F) Woolley Street (Part), Bradford on Avon; from its junction with Woolley Terrace to its junction with Coronation Avenue to enable BT to replace 1 decaying telegraph pole. Alternative route: via Coronation Avenue - Woolley Drive - B3109 New Road - Woolley Street (unaffected length) and vice versa. G) B3107 Silver Street (Part), Bradford on Avon; from its junction with Whiteheads Lane to its junction with Whitehill to enable Renteq to carry out the repairs to a damaged archway outside the Vaults and Vinters. Alternative route: via B3107 (unaffected length) - B3109 - A363 Masons Lane/Market Street and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 13 April 2020 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 15:00 until 17 April 2020. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: H) Upper Westwood Road (Part), Westwood; from a point 100 metres north west of Limes Farm Cottage for a distance of approximately 100 metres in a northerly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out removal and replacement of meters and bypass valves. Alternative route: via Upper Westwood Road (unaffected length) - C222 - Iford Road - Lower Westwood Road and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 23 March 2020 and the closure will be required until 03 April 2020. For further information please contact Sophie Andrews (Wessex Water) on 03456004600. Orders (a) to (h) will have a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses
