Somerset County Council Footpaths T32/2A and T 32/4 in the Parish of West Monkton (Temporary Closure of Footpath) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that on 20th day of March 2020 Somerset County Council made the above order, in exercise of the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as previously advertised on the 12th day of March 2020, to introduce a temporary prohibition of vehicles and people on the footpath specified in the schedule to this Order The Order comes into effect on the 26th day of March 2020 and will remain in force for six months. The prohibitions are expected to be implemented on 13* day of April 2020 for a period of six months and the restrictions will only apply when indicated by traffic signs.

From proceeding along Footpath T 32/2A from a point approximately 13 metres south of the junction with Toneway for a distance of 430 metres in a north then westerly direction. From proceeding along Footpath T 32/4 from the junction with Bridgwater Road, Taunton in an easterly direction for a distance of approximately 43 metres.
Statement of reasons for making the Order
a) because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road or
b) because of the likelihood of danger to the public, or of serious damage to the road, which is not attributable to such works
