Temporary Closure of The Esplanade, West Bay
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14  of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along THE ESPLANADE, WEST BAY for its entirety. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 21 May 2020 and will remain in force for 18 months. However,this will be reviewed on a regular basis.
This Order will enable Dorset Council assist Dorset Police to prevent access to public areas in line with the governments guidance relating to Covid-19.
