Somerset County Council District of Somerset West & Taunton Parish of Wiveliscombe Temporary Closure of Maundown Road TAKE NOTICE that in pursuance of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the County Council of Somerset have made an Order PROHIBITING ALL TRAFFIC from proceeding along Maundown Road from the junction with Jews Lane, south-westwards to Washbattle Bridge for a distance of 870 metres.

This order will enable Barden Network Engineering on behalf of BT Openreach to provide fibre cable to customer through existig BT duct. The Order becomes effective on 28 May 2020 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to start on 05 June 2020 and last for 20 days (08.00 - 17.00hrs). Please visit
