The County of Dorset (Waiting Restrictions) (Various Roads Wimborne) Experimental Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that Dorset Council in exercise of its powers under Sections 9,10 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act") and all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of the Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act hereby makes the above Experimental Traffic Order ("the Order").
When the Order comes into operation on 5 June 2020 the effect of the Order will be to: introduce new lengths of waiting restrictions along sections of the following roads; ?AllenviewRoad ?Burts Hill
? Tennyson Road
The reasons for proceeding by way of experimental order is to assess the effects of the changes before Dorset Council consider whether the provisions of the experimental Traffic Order shall continue in force indefinitely. The Order can continue in force for a maximum of 18 months. Within a period of 6 months from the coming into operation of the Order, or within 6 months of any subsequent variation or modification to the Order coming into force, whichever may be the later, any person may object to the making of a permanent order. Any such objection can be submitted online or in writing, stating the grounds on which it is made and addressed to Regulation Team, (2245/1/104), Dorset Highways, Dorset Council, County Hall, Colliton Park, Dorchester, Dorset, DT1 1XJ.
