NOTICE OF PUBLIC PATH ORDER TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990, SECTION 257 AND PARAGRAPH 1 OF SCHEDULE 14

The Sedgemoor District Council (Footpath BW3/5 and BW38/31 (in part) in the Parish of Bridgwater)

Public Path Diversion Order 2020 The above order was made on the 17TH June 2020 under section 257 of the Town & Country Planning Act, 1990. The effect of the order will be to divert part of footpath ref. BW 3/5 in the parish of Bridgwater from point A (Nat Grid Map Ref. 331651 137513) at Wadham Close, Bridgwater TA6 4YF in a generally west-north-westerly direction to join footpath ref. BW 38/31 at point B (Nat Grid Map Ref. 331628 137522), a distance of approximately 24.7 metres. And then part of footpath ref. BW38/31 continuing from point B in a generally west-north-westerly direction to point C (Nat Grid Map Ref 331581 137545), a distance of approximately 52.6 metres, then from point C in a generally south-south-westerly direction to point D (Nat Grid Map Ref. 331549 137461), a distance of approximately 89.8 metres, then from point D in a generally south-south-easterly direction to point E (Nat Grid Ref. 331552 137456), a distance of approximately 6.6 metres, then from point E in a generally south-south-westerly direction to point F (Nat Grid Ref 331528 137397), a distance of approximately 64.2 metres, then from point Fin a southerly direction to point G (Nat Grid Ref. 331525 137372), a distance of 24.6 metres, then from point G in a generally east-south-easterly direction to point H (Nat Grid Ref. 331592 137343), a distance of approximately 72.5 metres and create an alternative footpath instead to a line running from point A (Nat Grid Map Ref. 331651 137513) on footpath ref. BW 3/5 at Wadham Close, Bridgwater, TA6 4YF in a generally south-south-westerly direction to point J (Nat Grid Map Ref. 331644 137491), a distance of approximately 23.4 metres, then from point J in a generally south- easterly direction to point K (Nat Grid Map Ref. 331711 137424), a distance of approximately 99.3 metres, then from point K in a generally south-south-westerly direction to point L (Nat Grid Map Ref. 331672 137333), a distance of approximately 98.8 metres, then from point L in a generally west-north-westerly direction to point M (Nat Grid Ref 331597 137349), a distance of approximately 77.4 metres, then from point M in a south-westerly direction to rejoin footpath ref. BW 38/31 at point H (Nat Grid Ref. 331592 137343), a distance of approximately 7.1 metres. The width of the path will be 2m. A copy of the order and the order map may be seen free of charge at Bridgwater House, King Square, Bridgwater, from 8.45 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday. Copies may also be seen by contacting the Bridgwater Town Council. Any representation about or objection to the order may be sent or delivered in writing addressed to, Assistant Director, Finance & Property, Sedgemoor District Council, Bridgwater House, King Square, Bridgwater, TA6 3AR not later than the 24th July 2020. Please state the grounds on which it is made.

If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Sedgemoor District Council may itself confirm the order as an unopposed order.
