NOTICE OF PUBLIC INQUIRY COMMONS ACT 2006 - SECTION 15(1) & (2)

Notice is hereby given that an Inspector has been appointed by Wiltshire Council, to preside over a non-statutory public inquiry which, owing to the restrictions imposed by Covid-19, will be held on-line using Zoom on 29 and 30 September 2020. Participants will require a computer, smart-phone or tablet to access the inquiry. The hearing times of the inquiry will be from 1100 - 1300 and 1400 - 1600 on both days.

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: Footpath 15, Westbury; from north of the railway line heading in a generally westerly direction approximately 580 metres to its junction with Footpath 60, Westbury to enable Construction in the area around the right of way and underground mains drainage works. Alternative routes: An alternative route can be found around the southern boundary of the field. The closure will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 21 September 2020 and the closure will be required for 06 months. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of six months. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) Dursley Road (Part), Heywood; for a distance of approximately 15 metres either side of the rail bridge to enable Network Infrastructure Ltd to carry out survey, inspection and associated works. Alternative route: via Dursley Road (unaffected length) -B3097 - A363 - A350 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 21 September 2020 and the closure will be required between the hours of 22:00 and 06:00 for 1 night. B) Hawkeridge Road (Part), North Bradley; from its property known as 11 Hawkeridge Road for a distance of approximately 50 metres in an easterly direction to enable Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd to carry out bridge survey and associated works of the railway bridge. Alternative route: via Hawkeridge Road (unaffected length) - A363 Westbury Road - B3097 Link Road and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 22 September 2020 and the closure will be required between the hours of 21:00 and 07:00 until 24 September 2020.
