Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council has made an Order in
the interests of public safety the effect of which will be as follows: To
temporarily suspend Parking Mon-Sat 8am-6pm 30 minutes, no return
within 2 hours and temporarily replace with No Waiting at Any Time on
the following lengths of road; A4 High Street (Part), Marlborough –
North Side; from its southern boundary with no. 101 (Ask) for a distance
of approximately 5 metres in a south westerly direction. A4 High Street
(Part), Marlborough – North Side; from its southern boundary with
The Royal Oak for a distance of approximately 13 metres in a north easterly
direction. A4 High Street (Part), Marlborough – South Side; from its
southern boundary with no.49 for a distance of approximately 17 metres
in a north easterly direction. A4 High Street (Part), Marlborough –
South Side; from a point 4 metres south of its southern boundary with no.
26-27 (The Polly Tea Rooms) for a distance of approximately 21metres in a
north easterly direction. A4 High Street (Part), Marlborough – South
Side; from a point approximately 6 metres north of its southern boundary
with no24. (Haine & Smith) for a distance of approximately 12 metres in a
north easterly direction to its northern boundary with no. 22 (Caffe Nero).
To temporarily suspend No Waiting Mon-Sat 8am-6pm and temporarily
replace with No Waiting at Any Time on the following length of road; A4
High Street (Part), Marlborough – South Side; from its southern
boundary with no. 50 for a distance of approximately 15 metres in a north
easterly direction. The Restrictions will be clearly indicated by traffic
signs and road markings. This notice which follows an emergency notice
will come into operation on 10 September 2020 and it will be required until
19 August 2021. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months.

(30mph Speed Limit) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council proposes to make the above
Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be
as follows: Order 1 - To revoke The County of Wilts (Restricted Roads) (No.4)
Order 1963 and re-enact it in the above Order 1 for administrative purposes
and to introduce a 30mph speed limit on C189 Oxford Road/Aldbourne
Road, Aldbourne – from a point 53 metres north east of its junction with
Windmill Close to a point 160 metres north east of that junction. Order
2 - To revoke The County of Wiltshire (Various Roads, Baydon) (Restricted
Roads) Order 1999 and re-enact it in the above Order 2 for administrative
purposes and to introduce a 30mph speed limit on C189 Aldbourne
Road, Baydon – from a point 685 metres south west of its junction with
Ermin Street to a point 29 metres south west of the southern entrance to
property known as Baydon House Farm. Documents will not be deposited
for viewing at Council Offices which are currently closed to the public due

Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council proposes to make the above
Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will
be as follows: Order 1 - To introduce a 30mph speed limit on C1 Norton
Road – from a point 250 metres south of its junction with B4040 to a
point 28 metres south of the access to property known as 5 Ruckley Barn
Cottages; UC Road leading to property known as Ruckley House –
the complete length. Order 2 - To introduce a 40mph speed limit on C1
Norton Road – from its junction with B4040 to a point 250 metres south
of that junction; UC Spur Road between B4040 and C1 Norton Road –
the complete length. Documents will not be deposited for viewing at
Council Offices which are currently closed to the public due to Covid-19.

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders
to close temporarily to all traffic: A) Doncombe Hill (Part), North
Wraxall; from its junction with Fosse Way for a distance of approximately
430 metres in a northerly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out
water mains replacement. Alternative route: via Doncombe Hill (unaffected
length) – A420 – C151 – Doncombe Lane and vice versa. This Order will
come into operation on 28 September 2020 and the closure will be required
until 23 November 2020. For further information please contact Louise

Lavington; from its junction with Parsonage Lane for its entire length to
enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing and associated

into operation on 01 October 2020 and the closure will be required until

Order will come into operation on 28 September 2020 and the closure will

End – B3353 – Westlands Lane – A350 – Folly Lane and vice versa. This Order
will come into operation on 28 September 2020 and the closure will be
required between the hours of 22:00 and 06:00 until 30 September 2020.

Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: E) C166
(Part), Stanton St Quintin; from its junction with Avils Lane for a distance
of approximately 185 metres in a Southerly direction to enable Gigaclear
Limited to carry out excavation works to lay cables. Alternative route: via
C166 (unaffected length) – A429 and vice versa. This Order will come into
operation on 07 September 2020 and the closure will be required until
22 September 2020. For further information please contact Reese Hutton at

will have a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion
routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated
that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon

where possible, although
delays are likely due to the
nature of the works.
