District of Somerset West and Taunton Parish of Cheddon Fitzpaine Temporary Closure of Footway and Cycleway
adjacent to A3259 Yallands Hill
TAKE NOTICE that in pursuance of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the County Council of Somerset propose to make an Order PROHIBITING ALL TRAFFIC from proceeding along the footpath and cycleway adjacent to the A3259 Yallands Hill for a distance of approximately 30 metres.
This order will enable Wessex Water to install a new water supply main.
The Order becomes effective on 24 September 2020 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 1st October 2020 and last until 5th February 2021 between the hours of (00:00 - 23.59) for a total of 127 days.
