Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Traffic Management Act 2004 The County of Wiltshire (Parishes of West Wiltshire) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting, Prohibition of Stopping, On Street Parking and Clearways) Consolidation Order 2019 (Amendment No.1) Order 2020 Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council proposes to make the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 to amend the following restrictions in Atworth in the Parishes of West Wiltshire Consolidation Order 2019 by revoking Map Schedule Nos. ?S27 and DS28 dated 25 November 2019 and replacing them by the insertion of revised Map Schedule Nos. DS27 and DS28 and the insertion of new Map Schedule No. DS29 the effect of which will be as follows: a) To introduce No Waiting at any time on A365 Bath Road - south side - i) from a point 34 metres east of its junction with Fleetwood Rise to a point 13 metres west of that junction ii) from its junction with Bradford Road to a point 135 metres in a north westerly direction; Clock Tower View -west side - from its junction with A365 Bath Road to a point 11 metres in a southerly direction; Clock Tower View - east side - from its junction with A365 Bath Road to a point 14 metres in a southerly direction; Fleetwood Rise - both sides - from its junction with A365 Bath Road to a point 10 metres in a southerly direction; b) To extend No Waiting at any time on Mead Park - west side - from a point 13 metres north of its junction with A365 Bath Road to a point 48 metres north of that junction; Mead Park - east side - from a point 32 metres north of its junction with A365 Bath Road to a point 48 metres north of that junction. Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all users: Footpath 22 (Part), Melksham; for a distance of approximately 20 metres either side of the railway crossing to enable Network Rail to carry out Drainage Renewal works. Alternative routes: via Footpath 22 Melksham (unaffected length) - Footpath 28 Melksham -A365 -underpass under A350 - A350 - Footpath 27 Melksham and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 09 October 2020 and the closure will be required between the hours of 16:00 and 10:00 until 19 October 2020. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 06 months.
