NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 - SECTION 119 AND WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981 - SECTION 53 THE WILTSHIRE COUNCIL BOX 50 (PART), 51 (PART) AND 52 (PART) DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER 2020 On 3 December 2020, Wiltshire Council confirmed the above order made under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980. The effect of the order as confirmed is to divert Footpaths Box 50 (part), 51 (part) and 52 (part) situated at Rosewood Cottage and Wadswick Country Stores, Wadswick and thereupon the Calne and Chippenham Rural District Council Area Definitive Map and Statement dated 1953 shall be modified accordingly: Box 50 (part) from OSCR ST 8475-6848 leading in an easterly direction for approximately 98m to OSCR ST 8485-6847, to a new route at OSGR ST 8475-6848, leading in a broadly south easterly direction for approximately 38m to OSGR ST 8478-6845. Having a width of 2m. Box 51 (part) from OSGR ST 8485-6847 leading in a south westerly direction for approximately 81 m to OSGR ST 8477-6845, to a new route at OSGR ST 8485-6847, leading in a broadly south westerly direction for approximately 87m to OSGR ST 8477-6845. Having a width of 2m. Box 52(part) from OSGR ST 8473-6810 leading in a south westerly direction for approximately 318m to OSGR ST 8443-6798, to a new route at OSGR ST 8473-6810, leading in a broadly westerly direction for approximately 370m to OSGR ST 8436-6809. Having a width of 2m. Notice is hereby given that the footpaths created in the above order has been certified as acceptable by Wiltshire Council and became a footpath maintainable at public expense from 24 November 2020. The order comes into force on 3 December 2020, but if a person aggrieved by the order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the order, he or she may under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from 17 December 2020 make an application to the High Court. 17 December 2020

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all users: Footpath 24 (Part), Rowde; from its property known as Sewage Treatment Works for a distance of approximately 130 metres in an easterly direction to enable Construction of compound associated with works at Rowde Water Recycling Centre. Alternative routes: Around the northern edge of the field. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 04 January 2021 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for 06 Months. The Order will have a maximum duration of six months. Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: A346 (Part), Burbage, Savernake and Marlborough; from its junction with A338 to its junction with Blenheim Road to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing and associated works. Alternative route: via A346 (unaffected length) -A4 - A338 and vice versa. Alternative route for HGV's: via A346 (unaffected length) -A4 - A34 - A303 and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order which previously came into operation on 10 December 2020 will now recommence on 07 January 2021 and the closure will be required between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00 until 09 January 2021. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order has a maximum duration of 18 months.
