The Mount, Mountway and Mount Street, Taunton
(Temporary One Way Order) Order 2021
Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, intends to make an Order, the effect of which will be to introduce the following temporary one way order as detailed in the Schedule below.
This Order will come into operation on the 3rd day of June 2021 and will remain in force for eighteen months.
The Works are expected to commence on 7th day of June 2021 until 28th day of June 2021 and the restrictions will only apply when indicated by traffic signs.

Temporary One Way Order The Mount, Taunton - From its junction with Billetfield, southwards for a distance of 100 metres. Traffic to travel in a southwards direction Mountway, Taunton - For its entire length.Traffic to travel in a southwards direction Mount Street, Taunton - For its entire length.Traffic to travel in a northwards direction
Statement of reasons for making the Order
a) because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road
b) because of the likelihood of danger to the public, or of serious damage to the road, which is not attributable to such works
