SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) C325 (Part), Burcombe Without; from its junction with A30 for approximately 150m in an easterly direction to enable BT to carry out pole test and associated works. Alternative route via A30 - C63 - C325 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 21 March 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 1 day. B) C25 (Part), Fonthill Gifford; from its junction with C43 for approximately 440m in a north westerly direction to enable BT to carry out pole test and associated works. Alternative route via C25 (unaffected length) - Fonthill Park - C43 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 25 March 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 1 day. C) The Common (Part), Shrewton; from its junction with A360 to outside property known as Westwood to enable Wessex Water to repair a service leak. Alternative route via The Common (unaffected length) - B3083 - A360 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 24 March 2022 and the closure will be required for 1 day. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: D) Southampton Road (Part), Clarendon Park; from its junction with A36 to its junction with Marshmead Close to enable Wessex Water to carry out water main improvement and associated works. Alternative route via Southampton Road (unaffected length) - A36 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 28 February 2022 and the closure will be required until 11 March 2022. E) Ivy Street, Salisbury; from its junction with St Johns Street to its junction with Brown Street to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing and associated works. Alternative route via Catherine Street, Milford Street, Brown Street and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 01 March 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 16:00 until 04 March 2022. F) A345 The Centre (Part), Amesbury; from its junction with Kitchener Road to its junction with Smithfield Street to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out existing Puffin Crossing refurbishment, upgrade to Toucan Crossing and associated maintenance works. Alternative route via A345 (unaffected length), Stockport Avenue, Porton Road, London Road and vice versa. HGV Alternative Route: via A345 (unaffected length), Stockport Avenue, Porton Road, London Road, A303 and vice versa. This Order which previously came into operation on 31 January 2022 will now recommence on 28 February 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 07:30 and 17:30 until 08 April 2022. For further information please contact Wiltshire Council on 0300 456 0105. Orders a) to E) will have a maximum duration of 18 months, Order F) has a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
