Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Traffic Management Act 2004 The County Of Wiltshire (Calne And Calne Without) (Prohibition And Restriction Of Waiting, Prohibition Of Stopping, Taxi Rank Clearways And On Street Parking) Consolidation Order 2021 (Amendment No.3) Order 2022

(PREVIOUSLY ADVERTISED AS 2021) Notice is hereby given that on 8 June 2022 Wiltshire Council made the above mentioned Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 to amend the following restrictions in the Calne and Calne Without Consolidation Order 2021 by revoking Map Schedule Nos. CY55 dated 14th June 2021 and DA55 dated 6th September 2021 and replacing them by the insertion of revised Map Schedule Nos. CY55 and DA55 and introducing new Map Schedule No. CZ55 all dated 20th June 2022 the effect of which will be as follows: a) To introduce No Waiting at any time on Oxford Road - west side - from a point 30 metres south of its junction with Porte Marsh Road to a point 38 metres south of that junction; Oxford Road - both sides - i) from a point 23 metres north of its junction with Porte Marsh Road to a point 24 metres south of that junction ii) from a point 37 metres north of its junction with Woodhill Rise to a point 22 metres south of that junction; b) To remove No Waiting at any time on Abberd Way - south side - from a point 28 metres east of its junction with The Knapp for a distance of 7 metres in an easterly direction. As part of this project it is approved to introduce a build out for traffic calming priority system and dropped kerb crossing point on Oxford Road at a point 10 metres north of its junction with Woodhill Rise. Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in the Order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant Section of the above Act or on the grounds that any requirement of that Section or of Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act or any regulation made under the said Schedule, has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court. The Order will come into operation on 20 June 2022.

SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) Crookwood Lane (Part), Urchfont; for a distance of approximately 20m either side of the railway bridge to enable Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd to carry out detailed examination of above underbridge and associated works. Alternative route via Crookwood Lane (unaffected length) - B3098 - C20 - A360 - Stroud Lane - Crookwood Lane (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 13 July 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 22:00 and 06:00 for 2 nights. B) Greenway (Part), Clyffe Pypard and Tockenham; from its junction with Preston Lane, Clyffe Pypard for a distance of approximately 300m in a north westerly direction to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out highway drainage improvement works. Alternative route via Greenway (unaffected length) - Tockenham Road - A3102 - Preston Lane and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 13 July 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:30 and 16:30 for 5 days. C) C71 (Part), North Wraxall; from its junction with A420 to its junction with C174 to enable Openreach to carry out cable renewal on overhead network and associated works. Alternative route via A420 - C174 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 11 July 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 1 day. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: D) Purton Road (Part), Purton; from its junction with Lower Pavenhill to its junction with Upper Pavenhill to enable Openreach to carry out a pole test. Alternative route via C67 (unaffected length) - C414 - B4553 - B4040 - B4696 - C67 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 21 June 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 1 day. E) The Hamlet (Part), Chippenham; from its junction with Langley Road for a distance of approximately 55m in a westerly direction to enable Openreach to carry out clearance to blockages in the underground network and associated works. No alternative route is available. This Order will come into operation on 22 June 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 3 days. This Order will come into operation on 20 June 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 19:00 and 23:59 for 2 days. G) C60 (Part), Etchilhampton; from its junction with Etchilhampton Hill for a distance of approximately 75m in a north easterly direction to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out highway drainage improvement and associated works. Alternative route via Etchilhampton Hill - A342 -C503 - C249 - C50 - C60 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 20 June 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 07:45 and 16:30 for 5 days. For further information please contact Wiltshire Council on 0300 456 0105. Orders A) to G) will have a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

SECTION 16A OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all vehicular traffic: a) High Street (Part), Chippenham; from a point level with the traffic gate barrier to its junction with Market Place; b) Market Place (Part), Chippenham; from its junction with High Street to its junction with St. Mary Street. These temporary traffic measures are required to safeguard members of the public and competitors whilst enabling the Chippenham "Longest Day 10K" Event to take place. This Order will come into operation on Wednesday 22nd June 2022 with the exception of vehicles officially involved in the marathon, vehicles being used for ambulance, police or fire brigade purposes, or the purpose of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, or with permission being given by a Police Constable in uniform or a Community Safety (CSAS) accredited marshal. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all users: Footpath 22, Malmesbury Without; from A429 leading east including the spur at Copse view until its junction with Footpath 23 Malmesbury Without to enable Groundworks associated with new dwelling construction pursuant to planning permission for 27 dwellings. Alternative routes via Footpath 23, Malmesbury Without - B4042 and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order which was due to expire on 14 June 2022 will now continue into force until 14 December 2022 or until completion of the works, whichever is earliest. It is anticipated the closure will be required for 06 months. The Order will have a maximum duration of 06 months.
