Hackney Carriage Maximum Fare Table (North, South, East & West Zones)

Notice is hereby given that, in accordance with the powers contained in Section 65, of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976, the NORTH, SOUTH, EAST & WEST ZONES of WILTSHIRE COUNCIL propose to vary the table of fares for hackney carriages as indicated:

For journeys starting  Vehicles up to 4 seats  Vehicles with more than 4 seats carrying more than 4 passengers
07:00 hours - 21:59 hours  Tariff 1  Tariff 2
22:00hours - 06:59 hours And all day on Sundays, and after 8pm Christmas Eve & New Years Eve  Tariff 2  Tariff 4
All day on 25 December, 26 December and 1 January and Public Holidays  Tariff 3  Tariff 5
Tariff 1  Tariff 2  Tariff 3  Tariff 4  Tariff 5
Journeys up to 176 yards (1/10 Mile)  £3.50  £4.80  £5.30  £4.80  £6.30
Subsequent 176 yards (1/10 mile)  22p  30p  40p  45p  60p

Fouling Charge  £100 (minimum)

Any person wishing to object to the proposed variation in fares should do so, in writing, to Mr Thomas Ince, Principal Compliance Officer, Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge, Wiltshire, BA14 8JN within 14 days from the date of this advertisement.
