WILTSHIRE COUNCIL has applied to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and
Rural Affairs for consent under section 38 of the Commons Act 2006 to carry out restricted
works on Semley Common. The Planning Inspectorate will decide the application on
behalf of the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs. The proposed works are: (i) construction of underground sewage treatment works and ancillary apparatus, pipework and ditching on approximately 635 square metres of Semley Common; (iii) a150 metre length of temporary fencing around the construction site for a period not exceeding 12 weeks from commencement of works.
The works and fencing will be located adjacent to number 8Sem Hill, Semley, Shaftesbury, Dorset SP7 9AR between number 8Sem Hill, Semley and the property known as Whitehorn (opposite the Grange). The fencing will be imetre high Heras-type fencing or similar.

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily
to all traffic: Footpath 58 (Part), Salisbury; I he area of the footbridge, from apoint
approximately 160m north of its junction with The Maltings to apoint approximately 70m south of its junction with Avon Approach to enable installation of flood prevention measures. Alternative routes: westbound via footpath through the area of the park; eastbound via footbridge over river -Market Walk -Castle Street -Avon Approach. The closure will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.This Order will come into
operation on 27 March 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 31 March 2017. The Order will have amaximum duration of six months. Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close
temporarily to all traffic to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway reconstruction work, surface dressing and road markings: (a) Barford Down Farm Road, Downton;
from its junctions with C336 Barford Lane for its entire length. No alternative route is
available; access will be maintained for residents and businesses. This Order will come into operation on 19 April 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required between
the hours of 07.00 and 18.00 until 25 April 2017; (b) C293 Newton Toney Road,
Allington; horn its junction with A338 Tidworth Road to apoint approximately 50m
north-east of its junction with Wyndham Lane. Alternative route via C293 Newton Toney
Road/Station Road/Newton Tony/Beechfield (unaffected length) -Amesbury Road -A338 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 17 April 2017 and it is anticipated

operation on 25 March 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required daily
