NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF PUBLIC PATH EXTINGUISHMENT ORDER HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 - SECTION 118 AND WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981 - SECTION 53 THE WILTSHIRE COUNCIL WINTERSLOW 93 (PART) EXTINGUISHMENT AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER 2017 On 6April 2017, Wiltshire Council confirmed the above order made under Section 118 of the Highways Act 1980.
The effect of the order as confirmed is to extinguish the public footpath running from
OSGR SU 231 1-3232, in asouth direction for approximately 40 metres to OSGR SU 2310-3228 as shown on the order map and thereupon the Salisbury and Wilton Rural District Council Area Definitive Map and Statement dated 1953 shall be modified accordingly. Acopy of the order as confirmed and the order map have been placed and may be seen
free of charge at the Rights of Way and Countryside Section, Waste and Environment,
Wiltshire Council, Unit 9, Ascot Court, White Horse Business Park, Trowbridge, Wiltshire, BA14 0XA from 9am to 5pm on Monday to Friday. Copies of the order and map may be bought there at the price of £5. The order comes into force on 6April 2017, but if aperson aggrieved by the order wants
to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is
not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the order, he or she may under paragraph 2ofSchedule 2to
the Act as applied by paragraph 5ofSchedule 6tothe Act, within 6weeks from 13 April
2017 make an application to the High Court.

Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council in accordance with the provisions of Section 70 of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976, intend to vary the fees for Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Vehicle Licences and Private Hire Operator Licences.
They will be applicable within the Wiltshire Council area as detailed below with effect from 1st May 2017 (or on adate, being not later than two months from the first date,
if objection is made).

Section 14(1) and Section 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily
to all traffic: Cherry Close, Salisbury;from its junction with C368 Cherry Orchard Lane to its junction with Gorringe Road, and to temporarily suspend the One-Way Order on: Gorringe Road, Salisbury;from its junction with A36 Wilton Road to its junction with UC Cherry Close to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing, road marking and adjustment of ironwork. Alternative route via Cherry Orchard Lane -A36 -
Gorringe Road and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly
indicated by traffic signs. This Order which previously came into operation on 24 August 2016 will now recommence on 20 April 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required on weekdays only between the hours of 09.30 and 15.30 until 26 April 2017. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order has amaximum duration of 18 months. Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily
to all traffic to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway reconstruction work, surface dressing, road markings and associated works: (a) Barford Down Farm Road, Downton;from its junctions with C336 Barford Lane for its entire length. No alternative
route is available; access will be maintained for residents and businesses. This Order will
come into operation on 19 April 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required
between the hours of 07.00 and 18.00 until 25 April 2017; (b) C293 Newton Toney Road, Allington;from its junction with A338 Tidworth Road to apoint approximately 50m north-east of its junction with Wyndham Lane. Alternative route via C293 Newton
Toney Road/Station Road/Newton Tony/Beechfield (unaffected length) -Amesbury Road -A338 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 17 April 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required daily between the hours of 07.00 and 18.00
