Town and Country Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2010
The following planning applications are those affecting the setting of a Listed Building, a Conservation Area, a Public Right of Way, or major applications and are available to view on our website. Views relating to the planning applications listed below should be made by 1 December 2017 quoting the reference number. Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: (a) Blackmore Road (Part), Melksham; from its junction with Queensway to its junction with Vincent Close; (b) Westbury View (Part), Melksham; from its junction with Blackmore Road to its junction with Cotswold Close to enable Wessex Water to undertake work for a new sewer network. Alternative routes: (a) via Blackmore Road (unaffected length) - Sandridge Road - Queensway and vice versa; (b) via Westbury View (unaffected length) - Foresters Park Road - Ingram Road - Blackmore Road and vice versa. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. Closures (a) and (b) will be implemented in consecutive phases and will not operate concurrently. This Order which previously came into operation on 1 November 2017 will now recommence on 13 November and it is anticipated that the closures will be required until 28 February 2018. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order has a maximum duration of 18 months. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: B3098 High Street (Part), Easterton; from its junction with Kings Road in a northerly direction for a distance of approximately 400m to enable Wessex Water to undertake sewer renovation works. Alternative route via B3098 (unaffected length) - A360 - A342 - B3098 (unaffected length) and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 4 December 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 8 December 2017. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months.
