powers of the relevant Section of the Act of 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of that Section or of Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act of 1984 or any regulation made under the said Schedule, has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court. The Order will come into operation on 29 January 2018.
Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic to enable Eurovia to undertake works for carriageway resurfacing, surface dressing and road markings: (a) C235 (Part) Hisomley, Dilton Marsh; from its junction with A3098 to its junction with Old Dilton Road; (b) Old Dilton Road, Dilton Marsh and Westbury; from its junction with Hisomley to its junction with A350 Chalford. Alternative route via A3098 - Camargue Road - Westbury Leigh - Laverton Road - A350 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 21 February 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 23 February 2018; (c) Combe Lane, Bratton; from its junction with B3098 Westbury Road for its entire length. No alternative route is available. This Order will come into operation on 22 February 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for
two days; (d) C155 (Part) Hither Way/The Wharf/Bowden Hill,
Lacock and Calne Without; from its junction with Melksham Road to its junction with A342 Sandy Lane. Alternative route via Melksham Road - A350 - A3102 - A342 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 20 February 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 22 February 2018; (e) Whaddon Lane and Whaddon, Hilperton; from its junction with B3105 Hill Street for its entire length. No alternative route is available. This Order will come into operation on 22 February 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 23 February 2018; (f) Upper South Wraxall (Part), South Wraxall; from its junction with B3109 Norbin to its junction
with C215 (Middlebridge Stables). Alternative route via B3109 - C215
Upper South Wraxall (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 23 February 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for one day; (g) Coulston Hollow, Coulston;
from its junction with B3098 for a distance of approximately 990m in a south-westerly direction. No alternative route is available. This Order will come into operation on 23 February 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 27 February 2018. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: (h) Monastery Road (Part), Edington; from its junction with The Weir to its junction with Lower Road to enable Ringway to carry out footway reconstruction works. Alternative route via Monastery Road (unaffected length) - Tinhead Road - B3098 Westbury Road and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 22 February 2018 and it is anticipated thatthe closure will be required until 1 March 2018. junction with Eastbourne Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a south-easterly direction to enable Wessex Water to undertake works to add a connection. Alternative route via Eastbourne Road - Eastbourne Gardens - Ashton Street - Harford Street (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 19 February 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 21 February 2018. Alternative route via Lamberts Marsh (unaffected length) - Wesley Lane - A361 Frome Road and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 22 February 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 23 February 2018. Parva; from a point adjacent "The Terrace" for a distance of approximately 30m in a westerly direction to enable Wessex Water to undertake works to install a meter. Alternative route via Low Road (unaffected length) - High Street - School Lane - B3098 Westbury Road and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 21 February 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 23 February 2018. For further information please contact Simon Phillips (Wessex Water) on 0345 6004600. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated durations to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are possible due to the nature of some of the works. The Orders will have a maximum duration of 18 months.
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Traffic Management Act 2004 The County of Wiltshire (Parishes of North Wiltshire) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting, Taxi Rank Clearways and On Street Parking) Consolidation Order 2018 (Previously advertised as 2017) Notice is hereby given that on 16 January 2018 Wiltshire Council made the above mentioned Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act of 1984") and the Traffic Management Act 2004 to revoke The County of Wiltshire (Parishes in the District of North Wiltshire) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting, On Street Parking and Clearways) Consolidation Order 2006 with amendments 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 9 and re-enact it in the above Order and to include additional restrictions as follows: Colerne - To extend existing Medical Practitioners Parking Monday to Friday 8am - 6pm on Market Place - south side - from a point 30 metres east of its junction with Tutton Hill for a distance of 10 metres in an easterly direction. Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in the Order on the grounds that it is not within the
Section 14(1) and Section 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Temporary Closure of: Church Street (Part), Trowbridge
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all to all traffic: (a) Church Street (Part), Trowbridge; from its junction with Union Street to its junction with Silver Street. And to temporarily suspend the existing One-Way Order on the following lengths of road to facilitate local access and egress: (b) Church Street (Part), Trowbridge; from its junction with Union Street to its junction with Silver Street/Roundstone Street; (c) Duke Street (Part), Trowbridge; from its junction with Church Street to a point 15m north east of that junction.
And to temporarily suspend the existing Prohibition of Driving Order on the following length of road to facilitate a diversion for traffic: (d) Roundstone Street (Part), Trowbridge; from its junction with Church Street to a point approximately in line with the north-eastern elevation of No. 4 Roundstone Street. To enable: Wiltshire Council to undertake footway works. Alternative route: via Union Street - The Halve - Roundstone Street. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 1 February 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required on weekdays only until 5 February 2018. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of18 months.
