Improvement Scheme TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2018
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Bournemouth in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and the Traffic Management Act 2004, has made temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below to control traffic movement and parking.
Road safety improvement works by Bournemouth Borough Council are to be phased over 7 months, March - September 2018, and will include the road closures and parking restrictions detailed below. Dates shown for the restrictions are anticipated and subject to change. Road closed to all motorised vehicles and no parking - no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at any time on:
- Wick Lane - from Brightlands Avenue to Tuckton Roundabout (diversion via Brightlands Avenue, Broadway, and Belle Vue Road) - From 26th March 2018 until 29th March 2018
- Belle Vue Road from the entrance to the Harvester car park, 5 metres north of property No. 218 to Tuckton Roundabout (diversion via Stour Road, Barrack Road, Christchurch Road, Seabourne Road, and Southbourne Road - From 30th March 2018 until 15th April 2018
- Belle Vue Road from Old Priory Road to Tuckton Roundabout (diversion via Broadway and Brightlands Avenue) -From 14th May 2018 until 17th June 2018
- Tuckton Road from Riverside Lane to Tuckton Roundabout (diversion via Carbery Avenue, Southbourne Road, and Belle Vue Road) - From 18th June 2018 until 15th
-ACCESS: Full emergency services access will be maintained, access to properties will remain depending on site safety and diversion routes will be in operation. The works are phased and these arrangements may be amended or extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations.
