The following planning applications are those affecting the setting of a Listed Building, a Conservation Area, a Public Right of Way, or major applications and are available to view on our website. Views relating to the planning applications listed below should be made by 16/03/2018 quoting the reference number. Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Traffic Management Act 2004 The County of Wiltshire (Western Wiltshire) (Off Street Parking Places) Order 2015 (Amendment No.1) Order 2018 (Previously advertised as 2017) Notice is hereby given that on 13 February 2018 Wiltshire Council made the above mentioned Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which is to amend The County of Wiltshire (Western Wiltshire) (Off Street Parking Places) Order 2015 by introducing Melksham House Car Park to the Order, operating Monday to Sunday (inclusive)for all hoursfree ofcharge. Acopyofthe Orderand plan maybe inspected attheofficesofWiltshire Council, County Hall, Trowbridge during normal office hours. Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in the Order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant Section of the above Act or on the grounds that any requirement of that Section or of Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act or any regulation made under the said Schedule, has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court. The Order will come into operation on 26 February 2018.
Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: Bridleway 12 (Part), Lyneham; from its junction with Preston Lane for a distance of approximately 82m to its junction with Victoria Drive to enable Wessex Water to undertake works for installation of a new sewer rising main. Alternative route via Preston Lane - Victoria Drive and vice versa. The closure will be clearly indicated
by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 26 February 2018 and is anticipated that the closure will be required for eight weeks. The Order will have a maximum duration of six months. Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:
(a) Lower Stoke (Part), Limpley Stoke; from its junction with Woods Hill for a distance of approximately 150m in a southerly direction to enable Wessex Water to undertake work to replace complete service relay. Alternative route via Lower Stoke (unaffected length) - B3108 - A36 Warminster Road - Church Lane - Crowe Hill and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 19 March 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 23 March 2018. (b) C163 Easton Village (Part), Corsham; from a point adjacent property No. 11 for a distance of approximately 75m in a southerly direction to enable Wessex Water to undertake work to repair a defective cover. Alternative route via C163 Easton / Easton Lane - A350 - Thingley Lane / Thingley Road - C150 Corsham Road - C163 Easton Village (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 19 March 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 21 March 2018. For further information please contact Tom Wysocki (Wessex Water) on 03456004600; (c) A366 (Part), Wingfield and Trowbridge; from its junction with B3109 Frome Road to its junction with Brook Road to enable Eurovia to undertake works for carriageway resurfacing, surface dressing and road markings. Alternative route via A366 (unaffected length) - A363 Stallard Street / Bythesea Road -A361 County Way - A361 Bradley Road / Frome Road - B3109 Rode / Frome Road (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 20 March 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for two days. Alternative route via A361 Frome Road (unaffected length) -A361 Bradley Road / County Way - A363 Bythesea Road / Stallard Street-A366 Wingfield Road / Arnolds Hill / Farleigh Hungerford - A36 Woolverton / Shawford - A361 Rode / Frome Road (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 22 March 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required nightly between the hours of 19.00 and midnight for two nights. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: (e) B3107 Holt Road (Part), Bradford on Avon / South Wraxall; from a point approximately 45m east of its junction with Cemetery Lane for a distance of approximately 215m in an easterly direction to enable Ringway to undertake drainage CCTV survey and associated works. Alternative route via B3107 Holt Road (unaffected length) - B3105 Woolley Park / Woolley Green - B3109 Sladesbrook / New Road / Springfield -B3107 Holt Road (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 27 February 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 28 February 2018. For further information please contact Vicky Smith (Atkins) on 01225 730360. The closures and diversion routes will be clearlyindicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated durations to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are possible due to the nature of some of the works. The Orders will have a maximum duration of 18 months.
