Town and Country Planning (General Development Procedure) (England) Order 2015 Town and Country Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2010
The following planning applications are those affecting the setting of a Listed Building, a Conservation
Area, a Public Right of Way, or major applications and are available to view on our website. Views
relating to the planning applications listed below should be made by 23/03/2018 quoting the
reference number. All views expressed regarding a planning application will be considered and placed
on a file, which is open to the public.

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic:
A363 (Part) Market Street/Masons Lane, Bradford on Avon; from its junction with B3107
Silver Street to its junction with B3109 Mount Pleasant to enable Virgin Media to undertake ducting
works for future development to be followed by carriageway reconstruction and associated works
to be undertaken on behalf of Wiltshire Council. Alternative route via B3109 Mount Pleasant/New
Road/Springfield – B3107 Holt Road/Woolley Street/Silver Street and vice versa. The closure and
diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation
on 8 March 2018. It is anticipated that the closure will be required on the following dates/times:
8 March – 9 March 2018 between the hours of 07.00 and 18.00;
12 March – 20 March 2018 between the hours of 07.00 and 18.00;
21 March – 22 March 2018 (24 hours daily);
23 March 2018 between the hours of 07.00 and 18.00.
It is anticipated that the works will take the stated durations to complete depending upon weather
conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible although delays are
likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months. For further

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all
traffic: (a) Westwells (Part), Corsham; from its junction with Westwells Road/Moor Green for
a distance of approximately 220m in an easterly direction to enable BT Openreach to undertake
work to install poly duct track in the carriageway. Alternative route via Moor Green – Greenhill –
Westwells (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 27 March 2018
and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 4 April 2018. For further information

Scotland Hill (Part), Stanton St. Quintin and Seagry; from its junction with C166 Clanville for
a distance of approximately 720m in an easterly direction; (c) C166 Seagry Road/Lower Stanton
St. Quintin, Stanton St. Quintin; from its junction with A429 to its junction with Scotland Hill to
enable GTC (Power On Connections) to install cables for the new Dyson facility. Alternative routes: (b)
via Scotland Hill (unaffected length)/Henn Lane – C82 Upper Seagry – C66 Seagry Road – B4069 High
Street (Sutton Benger) – B4122 – A429 and vice versa; (c) via A429 – C166 Clanville and vice versa.
This Order will come into operation on 26 March 2018. The work will be undertaken in two phases;
closures (b) and (c) will not be in operation concurrently. It is anticipated that work will be completed

on 03453223322; (d) Plough Corner, Kington Langley; from its junction with Plough Lane for
its entire length to enable Wessex Water to carry out permanent reinstatement works. No alternative
route is available. This Order will come into operation on 27 March 2018 and it is anticipated
that the closure will be required until 29 March 2018. For further information please contact Tom

Parva; from a point approximately 260m north of its junction with B3098 Westbury Road for a
distance of approximately 150m in a northerly direction to enable Wessex Water to undertake sewer
manhole sealing work. Alternative route via Low Road (unaffected length) – B3098 Westbury Road –
C40 Cheverell Road/High Street – Low Road (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will
come into operation on 27 March 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required

01225 524021. Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to
all traffic to enable Centurion Site Services to undertake railway bridge structural safety examinations:
(f) C229 Fairwood Road (Part), Dilton Marsh; for a distance of approximately 30m each side of the
railway bridge. Alternative route via Fairwood Road (unaffected length) – Wood Road – Brokerswood –
Goose Street – Wynsome Street – A361 – A36 – B3099 Clivey/High Street and vice versa. This Order
will come into operation on 5 March 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for two
days between the hours of 22.00 and 06.00; (g) A363 Westbury Road (Part), North Bradley;
for a distance of approximately 30m either side of the railway bridge. Alternative route via A363
(unaffected length) – A350 – A361 – A363 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come
into operation at 23.00 on 7 March 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until
06.00 on 08 March 2018; (h) Slag Lane (Part), Westbury: for a distance of approximately 60m
covering the area of the rail bridge. Alternative route via Slag Lane (unaffected length) – Hawkeridge
Road – B3097 The Ham – B3097 Station Road - Slag Lane (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order
will come into operation at 23.00 on 6 March 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required
until 06.00 on 7 March 2018. For further information regarding closures (f) to (h) please contact

from its junction with Mill Lane for a distance of approximately 60m in a southerly direction.
Alternative route via The Street (unaffected length) – Park Lane – Top Street – West Street – Startley
Road – Startley – Heath Road – Rodbourne Road – Grange Lane – A429 Burton Hill – B4042
Swindon Road – The Hill – The Street (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into
operation at 21.00 on 6 March 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 04.00

01132775360. Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily
to all traffic: (j) Spa Road (Part), Melksham; from its junction with The Spa to its junction with
Snowberry Lane; (k) Snowberry Lane (Part), Melksham; from its junction with Spa Road to its
junction with Lavender Close to enable Centurion Site Services to undertake utility tracing survey and
to ensure the safety of surveyors. Alternative routes: via Spa Road (unaffected length) – King Street –
Semington Road – A350 – A365 and vice versa; via Snowberry Lane (unaffected length) – Melksham
Relief Road – Eastern Way – A3102 – A350 – A365 – Spa Road (unaffected length) and vice versa.
This Order will come into operation on 5 March 2018 and it is anticipated that the closures will be
required between the hours of 20.00 and 05.00 until 7 March 2018. For further information please

duration of 18 months. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close
temporarily to all traffic: (l) Monastery Road (Part), Edington; from its junction with The Weir to
its junction with Lower Road to enable Ringway to carry out footway reconstruction works. Alternative
route via Monastery Road (unaffected length) – Tinhead Road – B3098 Westbury Road and vice versa.
This Order which previously came into operation on 22 February 2018 will now recommence on
5 March 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 9 March 2018.
The Order has a maximum duration of 18 months. For further information please contact Chris Jenkins

clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated durations
to complete depending upon weather conditions.
Access will be maintained for residents and businesses
where possible, although delays are possible due to
the nature of some of the works.
