Town and Country Planning (General Development Procedure) (England) Order 2015 Town and Country Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2010
The following planning applications are those affecting the setting of a Listed Building, a Conservation
Area, a Public Right of Way, or major applications and are available to view on our website. Views
relating to the planning applications listed below should be made by 06/04/2018 quoting the
reference number. All views expressed regarding a planning application will be considered and placed
on a file, which is open to the public.

The County of Wiltshire (Trowbridge) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting,
Taxi Rank Clearways and On Street Parking) Consolidation Order 2015
(Amendment No.6) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council proposes to make the above Order under the Road
Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 to amend the following restrictions
in the Trowbridge Consolidation Order 2015 by revoking Map Schedule Nos. EQ27 and ER27 dated
2 June 2017 and replacing it by the insertion of revised Map Schedule Nos. EQ27 and ER27 the effect
of which will be to introduce No Waiting at any time on Coniston Road – both sides – from its
junction with Windermere Road to a point 4 metres south west of the boundary of property Nos. 23
and 25 Coniston Road; Windermere Road – both sides – from a point 4 metres south east of the
boundary of property Nos. 14 and 15 Windermere Road in a north westerly direction to (and including)
the entrance to property known as Bellefield Primary School. Deposit copies of the Order, plans and
Statement of the Council’s Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at the offices
of Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge during normal office hours. Details of
the proposed scheme may be seen at Trowbridge Library, Ground Floor, County Hall, Trowbridge
between the hours of 8.30am to 7pm Monday, Thursday and Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm Tuesday and
Wednesday and 9am to 5pm Saturday until 9 April 2018. Documents can also be viewed online at
www.wiltshire.gov.uk/troconsultations.htm. Comments on the proposal together with the reasons for
which they are made should be sent in writing or via the website to reach the Sustainable Transport
Group by 9 April 2018 quoting reference LJB/TRO/TROW6.
Section 14(1) and Section 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to:
Close temporarily to all traffic: Hospital Road (Part), Westbury; from its junction with A350
Warminster Road for a distance of approximately 80m in a south-easterly direction. And to temporarily
suspend the existing One-Way Order on Hospital Road and The Butts to enable the roads to be used
as an alternative route.
To enable: Wessex Water to carry out reinstatement works.
Alternative route: via Hospital Road (unaffected length) – The Butts – Orchard Road – A350 Warminster
Road and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic
signs. This Order will come into operation on 8 April 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will
be required for one day between the hours of 09.00 and 16.00. It is anticipated that the works will
take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained
for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months. For further information please contact Tom

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all traffic:
(a) UC Winsley (Part), Winsley; from its junction with Bradford Road for a distance of approximately
140m in a north-easterly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out service repair works. Alternative
route via Bradford Road – Winsley (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into
operation on 9 April 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 13 April 2018.

hereby given that Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: (b) Lower
Stoke (Part), Limpley Stoke; from its junction with Woods Hill for a distance of approximately 150m
in a southerly direction to enable Wessex Water to undertake work to replace complete service relay.
Alternative route via Lower Stoke (unaffected length) – B3108 – A36 Warminster Road – Church Lane –
Crowe Hill and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 19 March 2018 and it is anticipated
that the closure will be required until 23 March 2018. For further information please contact Brian
Freegard (Wessex Water) on 03456004600; (c) C163 Easton Village (Part), Corsham; from a
point adjacent property No. 11 for a distance of approximately 75m in a southerly direction to enable
Wessex Water to undertake work to repair a defective cover. Alternative route via C163 Easton/Easton
Lane – A350 – Thingley Lane/Thingley Road – C150 Corsham Road – C163 Easton Village (unaffected
length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 19 March 2018 and it is anticipated
that the closure will be required until 21 March 2018. For further information please contact Tom

its junction with B3109 Frome Road to its junction with Brook Road to enable Eurovia to undertake
works for carriageway resurfacing, surface dressing and road markings. Alternative route via A366
(unaffected length) – A363 Stallard Street/Bythesea Road – A361 County Way – A361 Bradley Road/
Frome Road – B3109 Rode/Frome Road (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into
operation on 20 March 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for two days.

Road (Part), Trowbridge; from its junction with Silver Street Lane to its junction with Bradley Road
to enable Eurovia to undertake works for carriageway resurfacing, high friction surfacing and road
markings. Alternative route via A361 Frome Road (unaffected length) – A361 Bradley Road/County
Way – A363 Bythesea Road/Stallard Street – A366 Wingfield Road/Arnolds Hill/Farleigh Hungerford –
A36 Woolverton/Shawford – A361 Rode/Frome Road (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will
come into operation on 22 March 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required nightly
between the hours of 19.00 and midnight for two nights. For further information please contact Jon
Moss (Atkins) on 01225730360. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated
by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated durations to complete depending
upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained
for residents and businesses where possible, although
delays are possible due to the nature of some of the
works. The Orders will have a maximum duration of
18 months.
