The following planning applications are those affecting the setting of a Listed Building, a Conservation Area, a Public Right of Way, or major applications and are available to view on our website. Views relating to the planning applications listed below should be made by 27 July 2018 quoting the reference number. All views expressed regarding a planning application will be considered and placed on a file, which is open to the public.

Section 14(1) and Section 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council has made Orders to:

Close temporarily to all traffic: Kingston Road (Part), Bradford on Avon; from its junction with B3107 Silver Street to its junction with Mill Lane; and to temporarily suspend the existing one-way Order on Mill Lane, Bradford on Avon; and to temporarily implement a one-way traffic restriction permitting northbound traffic only on Mill Lane, Bradford on Avon. The effect of the Orders will be to invert the one-way traffic restriction on Mill Lane to facilitate for diversion for traffic. To enable: Wessex Water to undertake standard connection works. Alternative route via B3107 Silver Street - Bridge Yard - Norden - Kingston Road (unaffected length) - Mill Lane. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 10 July 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 12 July 2018. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Orders will have a maximum duration of 18 months. Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: (a) The Street (Part), Broughton Gifford; from a point outside property known as Gray Sands, 13 The Street for a distance of 70 metres in an easterly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out a new connection. Alternative route via The Street (Unaffected length) - Melksham Lane - B3107 -A350 Farmers Roundabout - B3107 - Broughton Road - The Green and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 30 July 208 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 1 August 2018. (b) Ryeland Way (Part), Trowbridge; from its junction with Hargreaves Road to its junction with Hewitt Close to enable Wessex Water to repair two manhole covers. No alternative route is available; access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible. This Order will come into operation on 31 July 2018 until 2 August 2018. Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: (c) Spirthill (Part), Bremhill; from a point level with the property 'Naish House' for a distance of approximately 70m in a northerly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out standard connection works. Alternative route via Spirthill (unaffected length) - Charlcutt- Hare Street-West End -Foxham and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 9 July 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 11 July 2018. (d) Fairwood Road (Part), Dilton Marsh; from its junction with Footpath 6, Dilton Marsh for a distance of approximately 50m in a south-easterly direction to a point adjacent property no. 30 to enable Wessex Water to excavate trial holes. Alternative route via Fairwood Road (unaffected length) - Brokerswood - Rudge Lane - A36 - B3099 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 12 July 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 16 July 2018. (e) Top Lane (Part), Whitley, Melksham Without; from a point level with property 103B for a distance of approximately 50m in an easterly direction to enable Ringway to undertake work to construct a new bus stop and hard standing area. Alternative route via Top Lane (unaffected length) - Middle Lane - B3353 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 9 July 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 13 July 2018. (f) Netherstreet (Part), Bromham; from its junction with A342 for a distance of approximately 90m in a easterly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out water main replacement works. Alternative route via Netherstreet (unaffected length) - Yard Lane - A342 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 9 July 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 7 September 2018. Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: (g) Naish Hill/Reybridge (Part), Lacock; from its junction with Mons Lane for a distance of approximately 50m in an easterly direction to enable Ringway to carry out bridge repair works. Alternative route via Naish Hill (unaffected length) - Bewley Lane -The Wharf - Hither Way - Melksham Road - West Street - Chapel Hill - Cantax Hill - Mons Lane and vice versa. This Order, which previously came into operation on 4 June 2018, will now recommence on 9 July 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for five days. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions.
