NOTICE is hereby given that Wiltshire Council intends to dispose by way of the grant of a lease the following part of its land holdings within Broughton Gifford under the Community Asset Transfer Scheme to Broughton Gifford Parish Council which includes land which is used for open space, recreation and amenity purposes:

A plan showing the area being leased is available for inspection on request during normal working hours at Wiltshire Council's offices at County Hall, Trowbridge.

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: (a) Ryeland Way (Part), Trowbridge;
from its junction with Hargreaves Road to its junction with Hewitt Close to enable Wessex Water to repair two manhole covers. No alternative route is available; access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible. This Order will come into operation on 31 July 2018 until 2 August 2018. (b) The Street (Part), Broughton Gifford; from a point outside property known as Gray Sands, 13 The Street for a distance of 70 metres in an easterly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out a new connection. Alternative route via The Street (Unaffected length) - Melksham Lane - B3107 - A350 Farmers Roundabout - B3107 -Broughton Road - The Green and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 30 July 208 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 1 August 2018. For further information please contact

maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
