Notice is hereby given that Mr T Matthews applied to East Dorset District Council on:
26th October 2016 (3/16/2300 & 2301) for consent to propose a change of use from an agricultural building to one holiday let and erection of a stable block with associated parking (APP/U1240/W/17/3171902 & 3171907).
8th December 2016 (3/16/2304) for consent to construct a farm shop building to the end of an existing agricultural building, single storey with a mezzanine (APP/U1240/W/17/3171914).
8th December 2016 (3/16/2302) for consent to demolish 2 existing agricultural barns and erect 1 new agricultural barn (APP/U1240/W/3171910).
At New Barn Farm, B3078 Cranborne Road, Knowlton, BH21 5AE.
Planning Appeals were lodged by Mr T Matthews on 23rd August 2017 due to non-determination of the planning applications by East Dorset District Council. The Planning Inspectorate confirmed on 31st October 2017 that an Environmental Impact Assessment would be required for each of the planning applications and an Environmental Statement has been produced by Mr T Matthews.
A copy of the planning applications, with plans showing the land to which they relate, together with a copy of the Environmental Statement discussing the Company's proposals in more detail and presenting an analysis of the likely significant effects, are available for inspection, free of charge, during normal office hours at:
East Dorset District Council, Civic Offices, Bridge Street, Christchurch, BH23 6EA or online at planning.christchurchandeastdorset.gov.uk.
Copies of the Environmental Statement may be obtained from Ken Parke Planning Consultants, Anniversary House, 23 Abbott Road, Bournemouth, BH9 1EU (Tel: 01202 538800) with a charge for a hard copy or DVD. Copies of a short non-technical summary are available free of charge.
Any representations to the application should be made in writing to Elizabeth Adams, East Dorset District Council, Civic Offices, Bridge Street, Christchurch, BH23 6EA identifying the proposal and specifying the grounds for representation, no later than 5th October 2018.
Representations should be made in writing, dated and should clearly state the name (in block capitals) and full return email or postal address of those making representation. All representations to the East Dorset District Council will be copied in full to the planning authority, and made available to the public on request, unless the individual requests otherwise.
