Notice of consultation on the Masterplan for The Maltings and Central Car Park, Salisbury

Wiltshire Council is consulting on a draft masterplan for the redevelopment of The Maltings and Central Car Park, Salisbury. Once the masterplan has been endorsed by Wiltshire Council it will provide a clear approach for how the site is to be redeveloped over the coming years. Availability of documents

The draft masterplan for The Maltings and Central Car Park and information on how to make comments will be published on Monday 15th April 2019. The documents will be available on the Wiltshire Council website at: www.wiltshire.gov.uk/planning-policy.

Public exhibition

A public exhibition will be held on Tuesday 23rd April from 9:30am -6:45pm at Salisbury Guildhall. Wiltshire Council officers will be available during this time to answer questions about the draft masterplan. Next steps

All comments received during the consultation period will be taken into consideration. A final version of the masterplan for The Maltings and Central Car Park will be prepared taking into account the comments that are received during the consultation, before being presented to Wiltshire Council's Spatial Planning Committee for endorsement. Any person wishing to object to the proposed variation in fares should do so, in writing, to Mrs Julie Anderson-Hill, Head of Culture & Operational Change, Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge, Wiltshire, BA14 8JN or email fleet.licensing@wiltshire.gov.uk by 12th April 2017.

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) Grimstead Road, Pitton and Farley; from its junction with The Street to its junction with Adams Mere; B) Adams Mere, Grimstead; from its junction with Grimstead Road to its junction with Long Drive to enable Ringway to carry out edge overrun works and improvements to roadside verges. Alternative route: via The Street - Ben Lane - Long Drove and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 18 April 2019 and the closure will be required between the hours of 07:00 and 19:00 until 30 April 2019. For further information please contact Jack Francis (Wiltshire Council) on 07826 943272. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: C) Hamptworth Road, Redlynch and Landford;from its junction with Vicarage Road to its junction with B3079 Lyndhurst Road to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out works to stabilise and improve roadside verges and associated maintenance works. Alternative route: via Timberley Lane - Moor Lane - A36 - B3079 Lyndhurst Road and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 25 March 2019 and the closure will be required until 12 April 2019. For further information please contact Jack Francis (Wiltshire Council) on 07826943272. Orders (a) to (c) will have a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

AND OPERATOR FEES

Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council in accordance with the provisions of Section 70 of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976, intend to vary the fees for Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Vehicle Licences and Private Hire Operator Licences. They will be applicable within the Wiltshire Council area as detailed below with effect from 1st May 2019 (or on a date, being not later than two months from the first date, if objection is made).
