Temporary Closure of Broomfield

Somerset County Council District of Sedgemoor Parish of Broomfield Temporary Closure of Broomfield Road TAKE NOTICE that in pursuance of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the County Council of Somerset have made an Order PROHIBITING ALL TRAFFIC from proceeding along Broomfield Road from the junction with road through Broomfield to Lydeard Cross, south-eastwards for a distance of 240 metres. This order will enable Utility Services Ltd to carry out pole replacement works on behalf of BT Open reach. The Order becomes effective on 09 May 2019 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to last for 5 days (09:30-15:30). Please visit www.roadworks.org for further information on the alternative route.
