High Street, Ogbourne St George, Marlborough

Guide price

  • Bedrooms: 3
Believed to have been built in the 18th century as a farm building, converted into four thatched cottages in the 1800 s, converted again around 1900 into three houses, Beechley Cottage is an outstanding character village property, thoughtfully enlarged and improved in this wonderful downland village. I think you will have to look long and hard to find a nicer family home!

The location

Ogbourne St George is a beautiful downland village located between Marlborough and Swindon. An ancient village with the Ridgeway running through, it has an excellent Primary school which feeds into St Johns in Marlborough and a well attended public house. Surrounded by some of the most beautiful countryside in the area, it should be on every buyers wish list! The cottage is located just down from the school, away from any main roads, with a footpath at the other end of the cottages providing access to open fields and downland.
