Start your New Year safely – by getting your booster today.

The Kennet and Avon Medical Partnership [KAMP] has hundreds of booster vaccines available in Marlborough for today and tomorrow – and the medics are super-keen for you to have your jab.

“I am really hoping that you might be able to put a news flash to that effect on your online news,” said a KAMP spokeswoman.

“We are not anticipating any queues, so ideally people can book through the NHS website or by calling 119 or, if they are unable to do that, people can pop down to the Marlborough Leisure Centre between 10.00am and 12.00 noon to get their booster.

“If we have sufficient demand, we can stay open and vaccinating until 5.00pm”.

KAMP’s staff and volunteers will also be running clinics at the Marlborough Leisure Centre on Monday January 3

These clinics are bookable through the National Booking Service at www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/coronavirus-vaccination/book-coronavirus-vaccination/ or by calling 119

The KAMP clinics are open to anyone who is due their booster and is willing to travel t Marlborough, not just patients of the Marlborough and Pewsey-based practice. KAMP staff are hoping to deliver boosters to 3,500 people over the three bank holidays.

Everyone over the age of 18 who had their second vaccine over three months ago is encouraged to get their booster as soon as possible. KAMP staff are very experienced at running Covid vaccination clinics, as they have vaccinated more than 14,000 people in 16 clinics in the first six months of this year.
