ANOTHER bumper evening of bands to get punk and hardcore fans fired up.

Conwy's rock fundraiser Mark Watson Jones and his band of big hearted ne'er-do-well grinders the Emissaries of Syn will bring five of their favourite bands from across the North West to the Pot, on Rhyl High Street, to raise funds for the North Wales Wildlife Trust.

For anyone who has somehow missed the band in one of their many charity all day events across North Wales, the tongue-in-cheek three piece excel at pairing a politically charged growl with a razor sharp sound combining punk, hardcore, rock'n'roll, and grind influences.

Coming across the border to join them all the way from Batley in West Yorkshire are Civilised Society?, a UK hardcore four-piece originating in 1983 who are back with a vengeance.

From a little closer to home, relative newcomers P*** Kitti adding their raw, thrashy Liverpudlian punk into the mix alongside Liverpool and Manchester punk four piece Disidents.

Feeling right at home on this bill, away from their native Wirral, are he self described 'noisy idiots' of two-piece Crapsons, who are as energetic as they are silly and irreverent and are a potentially the most punk act currently on the circuit.

Finally, adding a change of pace to the line-up is fellow Wirral musician Mike West, whose honest and engaging acoustic rock takes aspect of his thrash beginnings to bring a unique mix of driving head bangers and folk twangers to the table.

Join the bands for one of the most thrilling line ups in North Wales' this summer at The Pot on Friday, 28 June from 7pm.

Admission is £5 on the door, with all proceeds going towards the North Wales Wildlife Trust.
