THE slayer of Smaug Luke Evans is still coming to Llandudno as part of his first tour.

Originally set for April, the Hobbit actor will bring At Last! The Live Tour to Venue Cymru on Thursday, January 14 2021 at 7.30pm.

In support of his debut album of the same name, At Last brings together an eclectic collection of modern and classic songs, personally curated by Evans to highlight and complement his unique delivery and vocal style.

The 12-track record features a series of new twists on classics such as U2’s With or Without You, Cher’s Turn Back Time, Pat Benatar’s Love Is A Battlefield, title track and Etta James cover At Last.

Evans said: "As some people know, it’s been my dream throughout my life to record and release an album.

"And now that the response to my debut album ‘At Last’ has been so brilliant, I’m finally getting a chance to fulfil another dream of mine - to go on tour and perform these songs to my fans.

"I can promise that I will be delivering an entertaining show for everyone, with a few surprises in store,’

While perhaps best known for roles such as the lead in Dracula Untold and Disney’s live-action remake of Beauty and the Beast, the Pontypool-born actually got his start in musical productions like Rent, Miss Saigon and more - so it should come as no surprise that belting out showstoppers is an integral part of his retinue.
