TROWBRIDGE Museum’s latest exhibition Buried Bounty will run at the museum, in The Shires Shopping Centre, until November 17.
The exhibition features exciting discoveries made by metal detector users in the area. Most of the finds are from Dave Crisp, who unearthed the famous Frome hoard, of 52,503 Roman coins in April 2010.
Tim Robey of Trowbridge Museum said: “This exhibition will help you spot the many treasures the soil has to offer and deal with them responsibly and legally. You’d be surprised what can be discovered with a metal detector.”
The exhibition features a fun trail activity for children and many of the exhibits are on show for the first time since they were unearthed.
