Energy engineering firm Torishima (Europe) Projects has moved to Westbury and hopes to create up to 12 jobs within the next six months.
The company, which manufactures boilers, biomass boilers and ‘turnkey’ systems to reduce energy loss from boilers, has moved into the Brook Lane Trading Estate, having outgrown its old facilities at Hartham Park, Corsham.
A spokesman said the company hopes to create jobs in the warehouse and engineering sectors as the business grows, and will set up its own training centre.
Communications manager Jon Newcombe said: “Torishima is striving to bring engineering back to the area and plans on creating up to 12 jobs within the next six months.
“Applications from project engineers, sales engineers and valve servicing personnel are most welcome, with a view to an immediate start, while apprenticeship schemes are also in the pipeline for both school leavers and graduates.
“Loading bay and warehouse staff will also be needed at some point down the line as well as additional admin support.”
The new site will also include a research and development facility.
