Stonor School in Atworth has joined an educational group called NACE and will be transforming the school with a makeover.
Boarding facilities are to get a major overhaul, along with dining and changing facilities. The entire IT network is to be upgraded and trials of learning with tablets throughout the prep and senior schools are to be introduced.
Stonar’s Nursery and Early Years will have play areas and equipment refurbished and the Equestrian Centre is to expand its stock of horses and ponies.
Architects and engineers are assessing buildings for a project that will transform classrooms and senior boarding areas. The work paves the way for boys joining the senior school in 2016.
Headteacher Toby Nutt, pictured, said: “The school has a very exciting future.”
