ENGLAND rugby star Lewis Moody will be opening up the doors to his Bradford on Avon home to sporting fans who are descending to the UK for the World Cup by listing it on home-sharing website Airbnb.

Guests at 'chez Moody' will be able to stay for up to a week in the house he shares with his wife Annie and two children after moving to the market town four years ago.

The four-bedroom house could be considered a rugby fan’s dream as it is completed with an impressive collection of rugby memorabilia from signed rugby balls, to a signed England 2003 Rugby World Cup winning shirt and a Lions jacket.

As part of the £150-a-night stay, Mr Moody will also be treating guests to a signed rugby ball, a personal tour of the house and even a few rugby pointers in the spacious back garden.

An Airbnb spokesman said: “This is an opportunity of a lifetime for a rugby fan looking for the most authentic all-round experience when they visit us this September.

“Through Airbnb all our guests live like locals, but it’s not often that they get the opportunity to be hosted by one of England’s sporting superstars at a time when all eyes are on the nation.

“We hope the nation will be inspired by Lewis to showcase their great British hospitality by hosting fans from around the world to give them their best rugby experience yet.”

Mr Moody said on the home-sharing website that the entire rental cost of the three-storey house will be donated towards to the Lewis Moody Foundation in support of the Brain Tumour Charity.
