Westbury based Mercedes Benz Dealer Group, Rygor smashed their fundraising target for a recent fundraising masked ball.

The masquerade themed ball was held in Bath last month and raised over £10,000, beating their target of £6,000.

The money went to James Hopkins Trust, Bath Cats and Dogs home and Dorothy House.

Tim Stacey, managing director at Rygor, said: “We are delighted that our first ever charity masked ball was such an enjoyable evening and raised more than £10,000 for these three incredible causes.

"I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our guests who gave so generously to help us achieve this fantastic fundraising figure, and to all the local businesses and organisations who donated wonderful prizes to our auction."

Local business, suppliers, customers and friends of Rygor attended the event, showing off their unique and eye-catching masks.

The evening included a three-course meal and a charity auction, hosted by Bath Rugby legend David Flatman.

Throughout the past 18 months the team has held a variety of charity fundraising events, including football tournaments, quiz nights, raffles and some daring team members even took part in the National Three Peaks Challenge.
