TROWBRIDGE was brought to a standstill on Wednesday afternoon after a woman had to be cut out of her car along County Way following a three-way crash.
Police, fire and ambulance rushed to the scene at around 1.30pm following a crash between a red Vauxhall Corsa, an Audi A3 and a BMW.
The Vauxhall had its roof cut off by firefighters to free the woman, who was then taken to Bath's Royal United Hospital. She is being treated for neck pain but it is not thought to be seriously injured.
Cars were reduced to a crawl at the County Way roundabout as tailbacks formed in different directions.
