CHRISTMAS has come early for Busy Bees as the Southwick pre-school raised £456 from its Christmas fair on top of receiving an Ipad to help with the children's learning.

Following a request from a parent of the pre-school's committee to Southwick Windows to donate some money towards getting an Ipad for the children, the store went one better by donating it in person at the Busy Bees festive fair on Friday.

They were joined by many others, all of whom got to enjoy Santa's grotto, a sweet shop, a barbecue, a raffle, stalls and music to cap off a great day for the pre-school.

"Friday really was a great day for us. Southwick Windows were so kind to give us a laptop and to raise that much for the pre-school from the fair was brilliant," said pre-school manager Kirsty Gray.

"The Ipad, which we are so grateful for, can show real life photos, videos, play music and also have fun learning activities to engage them, so it will be a great addition to the place.

"They kindly came down to the fair and gave us the Ipad and then we had a great time at the fair. It was a really good, fun, community event."
