A 26-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested after throwing a harmful liquid over a Trowbridge man.
The perpetrator, a man from the Middlesex area, was arrested on suspicion of attempted grievous bodily harm by police on Thursday.
The victim was taken to hospital on December 20 after sustaining superficial facial injuries by Sheepcote Barton at around 4.20pm.
Police confirmed that the substance was not acid. He has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
Officers continue to investigate the incident and are still appealing for any witnesses. Call 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
