Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

Hi Ho Hi Ho is off to Arc theatre Trowbridge this season as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs are brought to the stage.

Trowbridge Players staging their annual pantomime are transforming the theatre stage into the make believe castle to bring the classic fairy story to life.

This is the traditional tale of Snow White, played by Frankie Lewis, and the Prince played by Chloe Johnson and their adventures and of course the famous magic mirror.

Mirror Mirror on the wall who is the fairest of them all- Show white of course

But as traditional story unfolds the evil queen does not want to hear that answer so commands her huntsmen to do away with her in the woods

And true to the traditional story line Snow White escapes and then meets seven small men who help her.

Every Pantomime has a dame and this year making a return to the stage is Peter Grant taking the role of Nurse Nora- nurse to Snow White.

Peter, who has been playing the role of the Dame for over 30 years, stepped down last year for his 70th birthday celebrations in New York and is pleased to be making a return to the role that he enjoys.

He said;” Although I had a great time while celebrating my milestone birthday last year I really missed the pantomime fun.”

The production, this year, has been specially written by Jamie Wright and Tirion Cowell for the town’s Amateur Dramatic Society.

Jamie said:” It’s an update on the traditional story with the slapstick and comedy with a new twist and live music”
