THE people of Warminster went flipping crazy for pancakes this afternoon (February 13) as many families took part in the pancake race for Shrove Tuesday.
The town council, who arranged the event n conjunction with Diabetes Warminster Group, started the first race at 10.30am with several age category races taking place throughout the morning.
Pancake flippers had to run lengths of the hall and successfully flip a pancake at each end.
Despite the wet weather, the race which was to be held in the park, still went ahead and was moved to the civic centre.
Warminster resident Debbie Martin said: "It was a great turn out, there must have been about 60 or 70 people there.
"It was a great think for families to do during the half term, and everyone seemed to have a great time."
