15-year-old Trowbridge boy assaults police officer
A TEENAGE boy was arrested on suspicion of assaulting a police officer in Trowbridge town centre on Thursday afternoon.
Police were called to Fore Street at around 3.15pm following a report of a disorder.
A 15-year-old from Trowbridge was taken into custody on suspicion of public order, common assault, assaulting a police officer and escaping lawful custody.
He has since been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
Any witnesses should call the police on 101.
