POLICE have found a car which was taken during a burglary with several expensive items of stationery inside, including a leather notebook and fountain pen, during a burglary in Staverton on Monday.
Between 12.15am and 8.10am a house in Blease Close was broken into. Tobacco and car keys were stolen before a silver Saab 9-3 Vector was stolen from the driveway.
The car was later found abandoned in Keates Close, Trowbridge.
Inside the vehicle was a leather folder, a Montblanc Le Grand fountain pen and leather bound sketch pad. But it is not yet clear if the items were recovered.
PC Sarah Pickles said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to try and identify those responsible.
“We would ask anyone who may have seen or heard any suspicious behaviour in the Staverton area or the Keates Close area to call police on 101.”
Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 with any information.
