FOOD company Apetito, based in Trowbridge, recently handed over a £20,000 cheque to its official charity partner, Alzheimer’s Support.
The company has managed to raise the impressive amount through fundraising events, including A Walk to Remember, a sponsored walk from Bradford on Avon to Devizes that took place on the day of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding.
The CEO of Alzheimer’s Support, Babs Harris, was elated with the efforts of this year. “Once again, we are incredibly grateful for all the support Apetito has given us. A sum like this makes a significant difference to the support we can provide in Wiltshire.”
Lisa Hayes, whom is the charity community chairman at Apetito, was delighted with the outcome of the fundraiser. “Everyone is delighted with another fantastic year of support for our charity partner. The work being done by everyone involved at Alzheimer’s Support is truly inspiring, and we are delighted to be able to be a part of it.”
