PLANS have been put forward to knock down buildings in Steeple Ashton and build nine houses in their place.
The application seeks to get rid of the Steeple Ashton Kennels And Cattery, Edington Road, and replace it with nine houses, car parking, amenity space and a footway. Only two bungalows will remain.
Edington Road resident, Stephen Graver, said: “Steeple Ashton is a great village but the housing stock is very limited and the proposed addition will be very welcome. This would also do away with the nuisance of the dogs barking throughout the day.”
Comments are invited on the plan until Tuesday, September 18.
The application number is 18/07416/OUT
