A MELKSHAM-based singer-songwriter has raised more than £1,186 to make his lifelong dream come true.
Julian Pugsley, 47, started a crowdfunding campaign to help release his new album Ride as a vinyl long-playing record.
Mr Pugsley, who releases music under the pseudonym of Blake, always dreamed of being able to cut a record.
Now he’s making it come true after family, friends and supporters backed his dream by raising the necessary funds. He needed £1,000 to produce 100 copies of the LP.
Mr Pugsley, of Caretaker’s Close, Melksham, said: “The record is being cut in London even as we speak.
“I have sent off the audio and artwork to Disc Wizards and they are cutting 100 copies for me.”
Mr Pugsley will launch the LP at a Blake gig at the Bell Inn, in Bath, on Saturday, September 22, at 8pm.
