A BRADFORD on Avon Day Centre is appealing for people who live at home and who want some company to come along and socialise.
The day centre for the elderly meets every Monday from 10am to 3pm at the Cedar Court community room in Berryfield Road.
It has vacancies for anyone who would like social activities, a two-course hot meal, entertainment and good company once a week.
Organiser Helen Sheppard said: “We have 13 members but our numbers have dropped and we want to get them back up to about 18-20.
“We feel there are a lot of lonely elderly people out there who may want to come and join us.”
Activities include card and board games, arts and crafts, and musical entertainment.
Transport can be arranged in and around Bradford on Avon and Trowbridge for those who wish to attend.
