Staff and residents at The Wingfield care home in Trowbridge held a charity coffee morning last Friday (September 28) to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

The morning was a success and everyone enjoyed sitting down with friends and family to catch up with a nice cuppa for a good cause.

The money raised will help Macmillan make sure no one has to face cancer alone.

Gail Stone, General Manager at The Wingfield Care Home said: “Holding our own Macmillan coffee morning has been a huge amount of fun.

"Everyone at the home is always keen to support this fantastic charity in any way we can.

"We are very glad to be able to do our bit to raise further awareness and money for the charity.”

The British charity provides financial aid, specialist healthcare services, and all different kinds of support to those living with cancer.
