THE Calne Alpha Four Synchro Squad are celebrating following a successful competition at the
Swim England South West Region Synchronised Swimming Competition in Plymouth.
The team made an excellent start in the individual figures competition where Isabelle Armstrong received gold in the novice 11-12 years category.
Eva Gardner also received gold in the grade two 13-15 years category and Lucy Steele silver in the grade two 15-18 years category.
Isobel Hutchings received silver in the grade three 13-15 years category, as did Megan Dore-Wright in the grade three 15-18 years category
The success continued in the team routine competition where the junior team of Freya Armitage, Isabelle Armstrong, Sadie Balnave, Teigan Flockton, Jazmin Giddings, Rebecca Giddings, Florence Hayes, Katie Lees and Evie Thornton won bronze in the 12 years & under, figure grade two & below free combination categrory.
To complete the success the senior team - Dore-Wright, Fiona Eddy, Gardner, Hutchings, Sophie Sandberg, Ella and Lucy Steele and Abby Webber - received silver in the 13-18 years, figure grade three & below free combination category.
